Competition Definitions and Closing Dates for 2025-26

Post Processing

Your images must be presented as a ‘before and after’ pair showing applied enhancements. Only straightforward adjustments are permitted and composites are not allowed.
Closing date for competition entries 7th October 2025

Patterns

Your images should comprise repetitions of shapes, lines or colours in any combination – whether natural or man-made. Images must not be reflections or software-generated.
Closing date for competition entries 11th November 2025

Transport

Your images should aim to capture some form of transport. People may or may not appear in your images.
Closing date for copetition entries 23rd December 2025

In the City

Your images should aim to capture the details of urban environments and may include cityscapes, architecture and street photography.
Closing date for competition entries 3rd February 2026

Seasons (portfolio)

You need to provide a set of 3 images of different seasons that work together in terms of subject matter and visual continuity. You may not enter a single image split into three parts.
Closing date for competition entries 10th march 2026.

Landscape and Seascape

Your images should capture natural scenes and environments and aim to convey a sense of place and the beauty of nature. They may include people, animals or man-made structures within the natural setting. Landscapes and seascapes are permitted but cityscapes are not permitted.
Closing date for competition entries 14th April 2026

Reflections

Utilise a reflective surface to create a visually interesting composition. Regardless of the genre, use the reflection to add depth or intrigue to your images. The reflection must not be software-generated.
Closing date for competition entries TBA at the start of the new season.
