Rollright Stones
The Rollright Stones is a stone circle just outside of Chipping Norton. It is also a dark skies site, and the haunt of the local astronomical society, so I have let them know we are coming, and that our activities will be incompatible with astronomy.
We will meet at 7pm at the stones on Thursday 16th December, although Dean will arrive at about 6.30pm.

Go out of Chipping Norton on the road towards Banbury, the A361. At the roundabout that has a petrol station and second hand car dealer go left on the A3400 towards Shipston on Stour. Take the second left (staggered crossroads), and park on the left in one of the 2 laybys after half a mile or so. The entrance to the stone circle is next to the smaller layby.
Please bring with you some kit to paint with light, such as a torch, speedlight, gels to colour light, cut outs to project shapes and so on. Let your imagination run wild!
